Coming Soon to a Tik Tok Near You...

A couple of weeks ago, I and many of my colleagues were laid off from our jobs. Then I went on holiday to England and it was exactly what I needed.

I've had this idea to create an account where I combine the two loves of my life, reading and cooking, into one endeavor. So I'm proud to introduce The Bibliophile Cook a new channel coming to Tik Tok where I cook recipes or meals that can be found in fictional books.

I've started a preliminary list of foods to kick off the videos, focusing on more fall themed foods to celebrate the final arrival of fall weather in the D.C. area. First, I'll highlight the beloved sweet treats from Harry Potter (anything from the trolley dears?) as I cook for my friends for a night of not so scary Halloween movies.

I'm so excited to get creative in the kitchen and hopefully hit my 2023 book goal in the process. Follow along on my channel "The Bibliophile Cook" as well as here on my site as I plan to document how these recipes go and the creative process of how each one came to be.
